Lynda D. Wentz

YORK- Lynda (Dellinger) Wentz, 77, of North Codorus Township, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at ManorCare Health Services North in York. She was the wife of Edward W. Wentz, Jr. The couple celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on March 12, 2021. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on August 17, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York. Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder will be officiating at the service. Mrs. Wentz was born in York on September 14, 1943, the daughter of the late Nevin and Frances (Gemmil) Dellinger. She worked for the former Seivers and Devers Jewelers and Zollings Department Store. Along with her husband Ed, Mrs. Wentz leaves a son, Bradley E. Wentz and his wife Elana of Pennsville, NJ, a daughter, Claire Wentz Wagaman and her husband Michael of York; five grandchildren, Lucas, Olivia, Leah, Dean, and Allison; a brother, Frederick Dellinger of St Leonard, MD; nieces Christine and Dana; and her daughter from a previous marriage, Amy Brooks.
