WINDSOR- Luther G. Coley Coulson, Jr., 87 died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his residence with his loving Coleys girls by his side. A celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with a flag folding provided for by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A visitation will be held 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Mt. Rose cemetery at the request of the family Mr. Coulson was born November 11, 1923 in Hanover, PA, a son of the late Luther G. Sr., and Esther (Moreland) Coulson. He was a former employee of York International Corporation for 43 years until his retirement in 1990. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country during WWII; a member of VFW Post #556 and the American Legion Post #791. Mr. Coulson was also a member of the Viking Athletic Association, Hawk Gunning Club and Vigilant Fire Co. Social Club. Coley enjoyed reading National Geographic magazines and the local newspapers; putting together jigsaw puzzles; trains; gardening; going to yard sales; traveling to the beach for vacation; and taking his girls on educational field trips. Mr. Coulson is survived by four adopted daughters, Christina A. Koontz and husband, Earl R. of New Bridgeville, Tina M. Golden of Red Lion, Cindy L. Morrison and husband, Richard of Dallastown, and Becky S. Winters and husband, Harold J. of Lower Windsor; nine adopted grandchildren; nine adopted great grandchildren; and cousins, Garth Groft, Debbie Clark, Jean Chronister McGuigan, Blanche Hake, Leah Moreland, and many other cousins.
