Lula A. Jones

MILL HALL - Lula A. Jones, 83 passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit. She was born August 30, 1926 in Lowesville, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late William and Allie Ruth (Kline) Boring. Lula was preceded in death by her husband Clair Jones, Sr. and a son Robert Boring. She is survived by a grandson Robert A. Boring, Jr., of Jersey Shore who resided with her after the death of his father, Robert Boring. Lula is also survived by a granddaughter Reba Alivia Thomas and three great-grandchildren also a step-son Clair W. Jones, Jr. of Centre Hall and two step-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special caregiver Roberta Chubb of Lock Haven and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 P.M., Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Rev. Dr. Will Lawbaugh of St. Paul's Episcopal Church officiating. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
