Lucy A. (Smith) Eisenhart

York—Lucy A. (Smith) Eisenhart, 51, went to be with the lord, after a long battle with cancer, at 2:04 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2007 at her son's residence in W. Manchester Township. A life tribute service will be held 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, with the Rev. John Harman of Friendship Community Church in Dover officiating. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Eisenhart was born April 22, 1956 in York, a daughter of Phyllis (Smith) and Lloyd Smith Sr., of Manchester. She was employed for the past 10 years with Frito-Lay as a seasoning operator. Lucy was a 1974 graduate of Dover Area High School; she enjoyed scrap booking, loved traveling and was an avid outdoors person, who especially loved camping. Mrs. Eisenhart is survived by her son, Cory L. Eisenhart and his wife Beth of York, two brothers, Lloyd Smith Jr., and Larry Smith both of Dover, five sisters, Carol Harlacher of Dover, Janet Burtner of Hellam, Wilma Kauffman of York, Debbie Menges of Dover and Mary Althouse of Hanover and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave, York, Pa 17403.
