TROY- Lucille "Did" (Wilston) Watson, 71, of Troy, PA, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was the loving wife of Roy H. Watson. The couple married on November 10, 1954 and had 53 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 9:00-11:30AM on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Austinville Union Church, Austinville, PA. The funeral service to honor Lucille's life will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday at the church with Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Lucille was born on July 18, 1936 in Mainesburg, PA. She was the Daughter of the late Harry and Mary (McKay) Wilston. Lucille represented Troy High School in the 1953 Laurel Queen Pageant in Wellsboro, PA, and was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1954. After marrying Roy, Lucille worked for the Ben Franklin Store in Troy, and became a loving and devoted farm wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She attended the Olde Covert Church with Roy, bowled in several leagues in Troy, and was a wonderful cook. Lucille is survived by his husband Roy, her son: Randy (Gail) Watson, of Berrytown, PA, Rodney (Sharon) Watson of Berrytown, PA Calvin (Judy) Watson of Troy, PA, and Brian (Marie) Watson of Berrytown, PA, her daughter Amy Updike and fianc矃harles Oldroyd, Jr. of Sayre, PA, grandchildren: Natasha (Ryan) Bisbey, Lakeyja (Reed) Perkins, Cheyenne (Sean) Bisbey, Tracy (John) Onderdonk, Eric Watson, Marcia Watson, Marty Watson with special friend Sarah Sander, Mark (Amber) Watson, Matt Watson with special friend Jamie Watkins, Liza (Rodney) Voorhees, Bradley Watson and fianc矃hrissy Bombarger, Sadie (Bryon) Champluvier, Douglas Miller, Jeffrey Miller, Adam Watson, and Lauren Oldroyd, 12 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way, her brothers: Harold Wilston of Middlebury Center, PA, Arthur (Eunice) Wilston of Troy, PA, Ralph (Caroline) Wilston of Mainesburg, PA, her sister Myrtle (John) Inman of East Troy, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. Her parents, her sister Pauline Thomas Earl, and sister-in-law Leora Wilston precede Lucille in death. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucille' name to the Olde Covert Church, RR 1 Box 368 Troy, PA, 16947.
