Lucille I. (Chapman) Kopp

Lucille I. (Chapman) Kopp, 90, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Eugene A. Kopp. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born February 6, 1928 in Manchester, Lucille was a daughter of the late Martin L. Chapman, Sr. and Ruth (Sloat) Chapman. She was the owner and operator of Lucille’s Beauty Shop in Windsor until her retirement. After she retired, Lucille went on to custodian for the administrative offices of the Red Lion School District. Mrs. Kopp was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Windsor. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, and attending family picnics and gatherings. Lucille loved her family more than anything and will be dearly missed by them. Mrs. Kopp is survived by a son, Steven E. Kopp and his wife Kimberly A. of Red Lion; a daughter, Barbara L. Kopp of Red Lion; three grandchildren, Angel Michael, Christopher Shue, and Scott Kopp; five great grandchildren; a brother, Martin L. Chapman, Jr. of York, and two sisters, June Fickes and her husband Robert of Dover, and Carol Lenhart and her husband Stan of Manchester. In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Fitzpatrick and Marian Ort.
