Loureda L. (Mcilvain) Stump Leake

YORK TOWNSHIP- Loureda L. (McIlvain) Stump Leake, 83 of Dallastown died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Leake and the late Ray E. Stump Sr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Salem Lutheran Church, 99 York Rd., in Jacobus, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Loureda was born in York on April 23, 1927, a daughter of the late Harold A. and Laura M. (Bailey) McIlvain. She retired as a Supervisor in Housekeeping at York Hospital. Loureda was formerly a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Spry, where she was a member of 55+ club, before transferring to Salem Lutheran Church where she was currently a member. She was a 1945 Graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Loureda leaves four sons, Craig Stump of York, Ray Stump, Jr. of Felton, Bradley Stump of Red Lion, and Dennis Stump of York; two daughters, Beverly Stump of York and Beth Ann Butler of York; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Luana Sweeney of Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Harold, and Lawrence McIlvain. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
