Louise R. (Daugherty) Yingling

DALLASTOWN - Louise R. (Daugherty) Yingling, 71, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at the residence of her daughter. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Yingling. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 2523 Pine Grove Rd., York with her pastor, The Rev. Joel N. Coleman officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:30-2:00 PM at the Church. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born May 6, 1939 in Springfield Twp., a daughter of the late Edward W. and Beulah R. (Sharp) Daugherty, she along with her husband owned and operated BAR-K-FARMS in Red Lion. Mrs. Yingling was an active member of Pine Grove U.M. Church and its Sunshine Club, Choir, and as a greeter. She was also a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and York Co. Grange. Mrs. Yingling enjoyed bowling at Lincolnway Lanes, traveling the US coasts and visiting lighthouses, and spending time visiting her grandchildren. Mrs. Yingling is survived by three sons, Richard A. Yingling of Dover, Brian A. and wife Caroline Yingling of Red Lion, and Karl E. and wife Christine Yingling of Jersey Shore, PA; two daughters, Debra A. and husband James Buffington of Spring Grove and Dora A. and husband Jerome Fitzsimmons of York Haven; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; a brother, Jeffrey L. Daugherty and his wife Sally Yingling of York; and a sister in law, Donna Daugherty. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis "Butch" Daugherty and Leroy "Doc" Daugherty.
