Louise M. (Manifold) Mcallister

York—Louise M. (Manifold) McAllister, 97, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at SpiriTrust Lutheran--the Village at Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Harold R. McAllister to whom she was married for 71 years. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be 1PM; Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Round Hill Presbyterian Cemetery, 7362 Church Rd, Felton. Officating the service will be the Rev. Allison J. Beaulieu of First Presbyterian Church--York. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born in E. Hopewell Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Olive (Uffelman) Manifold. She was employed as a dental receptionist and business manager of Dr. C. Gerry Stinson’s office for 25 years until her retirement in 1985. A member of First Presbyterian Church in York, she sang in the church choir and was part the Niles Bible Class. She was also a former member of the York Chorus and the Dallastown Golden Agers and formerly volunteered with Lutheran Social Services. Mrs. McAllister is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brother, Gordon Manifold and a sister, Isabelle Leiphart. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Endowment Fund, 225 E.
