Louise M. (Jones) Eastwood

WILKES-BARRE-Louise M. Eastwood, 89 of Wilkes-Barre, PA died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Salisbury, MD. Born on July 25, 1922 in Hopkins, MI, she was the daughter of the late Louise and Laura Jones. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Eastwood was employed as an executive secretary by the former United Penn Bank. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Robert & Debbie Eastwood of Mountain Top, PA and Susan L. & Bruce Patterson of Salisbury, MD; grandchildren: Michael Castrignano, Giovanna Castrignano, Jennie Eastwood, Beckie Eastwood and Chris Eastwood; great-grandson, Colton Eastwood; brother, Donald Jones of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her husband of 42 years, Robert B. Eastwood and brothers Jack and Harold Jones. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Anne M. Emery will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Hanover Township.
