Louise M. (Gotwalt) Hess

SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP- Louise M. (Gotwalt) Hess, 80, of York died Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Leroy D. Hess. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Mrs. Hess was born in York on February 4, 1931, daughter of the late John B. and Fannie M. (Ely) Gotwalt. She worked for the annual York Fair for many years in Agricultural Hall. Mrs. Hess was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in York. Mrs. Hess leaves a son, Steven M. Hess of York. A son, David B. Hess had preceded her in death.
