Louise E. (Bristol) Ayres

Louise E. (Bristol) Ayres, 82 of Granville Summit, PA went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Lynn E. Ayres. The couple married June 18, 1949 and had 64 wonderful years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA and again Monday morning November 11th from 10:00-11:00 am at the Windfall United Methodist Church, 3351 Windfall Road in Granville Summit, PA. The funeral service to honor Louise’s life will be held at 11:00 am on November 11th at the church with her pastor, Rev. Richard Noggle, officiating. Burial will follow in Windfall Cemetery. Louise was born on June 20, 1931 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late Clyde and Maude (Rumsey) Bristol. She was a Troy High School graduate, Class of 1949, and was a life member of the Windfall United Methodist Church. She worked for American Silk as a weaver, helped in the Troy High School Cafeteria, and was a bookkeeper for the First National Bank of Troy. All through her married life she was always beside Lynn, helping on the farm and caring for her family. Louise is survived by her loving husband Lynn, her children: Calvin (Sandra) Ayres of New Tripoli, PA and Nancy (Gary) Earle of Reading, PA, her grandsons: Christopher (Megan) Earle, Michael (Erin) Earle, Bradley (Laura) Ayres, Mark Ayres and Scott Ayres, her great grandchildren: Molly Earle, Sarah Earle, Jonathan Earle, and Conner Earle, her brother Clyde (Marilyn) Bristol of Kansas, her sister Lucille (Herb) Mallory of Marion, PA, along with several nieces and nephews.
