Louise E. Bell

YORK Louise E. Bell, 82, passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at Autumn House East. She was the wife of Leonard W. Bell to whom she has celebrated 36 years of marriage. She was also the wife of the late Robert Sundermeier. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 25, 2011 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with Rev. Brian A. McClinton, Pastor of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Bell was born July 26, 1928 in Philadelphia. She was retired from the United States Postal Service where she worked in New Jersey. Louise was an avid gardener and loved animals, particularly birds and dogs. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bell is survived by a daughter, Linda Lee and husband Dr. G. Philip Scott of York; a son, Robert Sundermeier of York; three grandchildren, Lori Scott, G. Philip Scott, III, and Robert Scott; two brothers, John and wife Charlotte Ernst of Laurel, MD and Eric and wife Pat Ernst of Port Orange, FL; two stepchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Sundermeier. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SPCA of York, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406. YORK Louise E.
