Louise E. (Bailey) Rapp

ELIZABETHTOWN- Louise E. (Bailey) Rapp, 89, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown. She was the wife of John R. Rapp. The couple had been married for 65 years. Born on July 12, 1926 in Dallastown, she was the daughter of the late Reuben P. and Edna (Lentz) Bailey. Mrs. Rapp graduated from Rider College in Trenton, NJ. Louise worked in several secretarial positions and enjoyed being a homemaker in her later years. Mrs. Rapp attended the Sell Chapel at the Masonic Village. She was a past Sunday School teacher at Salem Lutheran Church in Jacobus for 19 years. Louise enjoyed painting and helping people. Along with her devoted husband, John, Louise is survived by one brother, Robert G. Bailey of Elizabethtown; one nephew, David Callahan of York; one niece, Brenda Long and her husband, Robert of Enola; and one great niece, Sarah Long of Enola; She was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Callahan. A memorial service will be held at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at a later date.
