Louis B. Wolf

FROSTPROOF, FL- Louis B. Wolf, 79, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He joined his life companion of 23 years, the late Joanne A. (Hildebrand) Waltmyer.

Born on December 14, 1942 in York, Lou was a son of the late Ashlen H. and Charlotte (Meares) Wolf. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Campaign. Upon his return, he was employed as a maintenance worker at Dentsply International for over 30 years until his retirement at age 52.

Lou was a member of the Dentsply 25-year club and the American Legion. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, camping at Myrtle Beach, watching TV, and socializing with his friends.

Lou is survived by his daughter, Beth A. Ott and her husband, Frank Sr. of Felton, their child Frank Jr, his wife Michelle, and their children Levi and Myles. Lou also leaves his son Kevin L. Wolf and his wife, Jill of Stewartstown, and their children Carter, Connor, and Kailyn. He is survived by brother, Doug Wolf and his wife, Diane of Garland, TX;. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Wolf. Lou is also survived by Joanne’s family, who he considered his own.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Allison Duke officiating and full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard at the start of the service. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. The service will be livestreamed at HeffnerCare.com by searching Louis’ obituary.
