Lottie M. (Rzonca) Christ

YORK -Lottie M. (Rzonca) Christ, 85, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Hershey Medical Center. She was the loving wife of John Christ to whom she was married for 63 years. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with the Rev. Stanley Bilinski officiating. Viewings will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, 4-7 p.m. Friday, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at a later date. Mrs. Christ was born January 25, 1924 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Jan and Michalina (Ryncarz) Rzonca. She was a 1941 graduate of Chadsey High School in Detroit, MI. While living in MI, she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Christ was a loving mother, wife, and a great supporter of her family. She enjoyed working with ceramics, bowling, gardening, and playing the organ. She was an avid reader, reading anything she could find. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Christ is survived by a son Ken J. Christ, of Chelsea, MI; a daughter, Sharon E. Christ of York; a brother Leonard J. Rzonca of NC; and close family friend, Carol A. Wagner and her daughter Tracey A. Achrem, and grandson, Hunter C. Achrem. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
