Lottie H. (Beck) Kimmel

YORK - Lottie H. (Beck) Kimmel, 92, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Manor Care North. She was the wife of the late Richard Kimmel to whom she was married for 49 years. A viewing will be held from 1-2:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. A graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM Wednesday at Dover Union (Lenhart Gerber) Cemetery with her visitation pastor, The Rev. Diane G. Wenthe officiating. Born December 27, 1917 in Conewago Twp., a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Shaffner) Beck, she was a seamstress for a number of local sewing factories for 42 years. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Mrs. Kimmel is survived by a son, Ronald Kimmel and wife of York; two grandsons, Ronald Kimmel and family and Timothy Kimmel and wife; and three sisters, Nellie Kunkle of York, Charlotte Crone of Dover, and Helen Fetrow of York.
