Lorraine M. Evans POTTSVILLE-Lorraine M. Evans, 84, resident of Manor Care, Pottsville, passed away Saturday at Manor Care. Born in Pottsville on April 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite Phillips Yocum. She was retired from the former Argo Mills. Lorraine was of the protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Evans; her two sons, Robert C. and Roy G. Evans; her sister, Betty Stine. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Margaret Diane Evans; her two Grandchildren, Krystal Schreiber and James Evans; her two great grandchildren, Erik Schreiber and Cooper Evans; nieces and nephews. Graveside interment services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Schuylkill Unit, 16 North 4th Street, Minersville, PA 17954.
