Lorraine K. (Frey) Strickhouser

Lorraine K. (Frey) Strickhouser, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Autumn House East. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Strickhouser. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with her Associate Pastor, The Rev. F. Bud Bish officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born May 7, 1926 in York a daughter of the late William E. and Pauline K. (Freed) Frey, she was a graduate of Hellam High School. Mrs. Strickhouser retired from the former Hills Dept. Store. She was a member of Yorkshire United Methodist Church, National Assoc. of Letter Carriers Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Springettsbury Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Strickhouser is survived by two sons, Steven R. and wife Vickie Strickhouser of York and Terry L. and wife Rosa Strickhouser of South Daytona Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Jason and Erik Strickhouser, Maria Conley, Alberto Strickhouser and Angelina Riffey; eight great grandchildren; and three sisters, Doris Saylor and Geraldine Tarlton both of Hellam and Jocleta Wilson of Red Lion.
