Lorraine Grace (Lewis) Gillmen

Lorraine Grace Lewis Gillmen, aged 72, was called home by our Father in Heaven on October 24, 2009. She was born October 3, 1937 in Tyrone, PA to Melvin C. Lewis Sr. and Isabel Mae Smith. She married William Edward Gillmen on March 24, 1956 in the Bald Eagle United Methodist Church in Bald Eagle, PA. They had 53 beautiful years together. Their union was blessed with five children; Christil Anne, of Everett, WA, M. Katherine "Kate", of Red Lion, PA, William Edward Jr. of Tyrone, PA, Martin James of Tyrone, PA, and David Paul of Windsor Twp. Later, they were blessed with ten beautiful grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom they loved and enjoyed beyond measure. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 29,2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., with the Rev. Barton Schaefer officiating. Viewings will be held 5-7 PM, Wednesday, and 9-10 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Red Lion Cemetery. Lorraine was a truly beautiful woman. She was a wonderful wife, a devoted mother and a true friend to all. She will be deeply missed.
