Loris A. Crone

YORK – Loris Anne (Hartman) Crone, 85, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at UPMC Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Dean M. Crone to whom she was married for over 66 years.

Born February 22, 1939 in York, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Mary Hazel (Moore) Hartman. For most of her working life, Loris was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her greenhouse and raising orchids.

Mrs. Crone is survived by four children, Erik Crone and his wife Adrienne of Dover, Mark Crone and his wife Shirl of Dover, Cindy Crone of Dover, and Tara Yinger and her husband Tim of Manchester; ten grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cheryl Chapman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dean.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., York, is assisting the family with arrangements.
