YORK--Lori J. (Ruth) Wire, 62, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at York Hospital. A Celebration of Life Tribute will be from 1-4PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Susquehanna Yacht Club, 1730 Long Level Rd, Wrightsville, Pa 17368. The family would like to express that everyone is welcome to attend. Born March 15, 1959 in York, she was a daughter of Emerson L. and Nancy E. (Eisenhour) Ruth. She was employed with Pfaltzgraff for 25yrs holding multiple titles including production lead. Later, she worked as a manager at Rutter’s and most recently worked with Hoem Inc., and Bricker’s. An avid gardener, who enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers, she also loved reading, shopping and her two dogs. Ms. Wire is survived by one daughter, Amanda S. Redcay and husband, Adam of Wrightsville; one son, Justin A. Sowers and wife, Christina of York; two grandchildren, Emilee and Tucker Sowers; one sister, Jodi L. Grove and husband, Blaine of Thomasville; one brother, Randy L. Ruth and wife, Vicki of York; sister-in-law, Nadine Ruth of Felton and numerous nieces and nephews.
