Loretta L. (Holtzapple) Stump

RED LION- Loretta L. (Holtzapple) Stump, 73, entered into rest Monday, August 8, 2016 at Victorian Villa. She was the wife of the late Ivan R. Stump, who passed away on October 4, 2004. Born on September 16, 1942 in Red Lion, she was a daughter of the late Harris and Grace (Keller) Holtzapple. Loretta was a graduate of Red Lion Area High School and was a long time employee of the Bon-Ton. She had a love for dancing and music. Mrs. Stump is survived by her son, David M. Stump and wife, Alissa of Dallastown; three grandchildren, Jared, Haley and Emilee; and two sisters, Joan Frey of Dallastown and Barb Hake and husband, Martin of Dallastown. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Stump; and longtime companion, Elwood Snyder. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York with the Reverend Margaret Stevens officiating. A funeral cortege will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is in charge of arrangements.
