Loretta J. Barner

LOGANTON - Loretta J. Barner, 76, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Loganton. She was born May 12, 1940 in Lock Haven. Loretta worked at the former Island Poultry Farm and later in the housekeeping dept. at the Comfort Inn. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and buying PA Lottery “scratch off” tickets. Surviving are two daughters Tina (Pete) Marquez of Chesapeake, VA and Kimberly (Rod) Shelley of Loganton. 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her companion of 30 years Atlee “Rod” Weere who died in 2014. One sister Darla Miller and two brothers Billy Watson and Clifford Watson also preceded her in death. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the home of her daughter 87 W. South Street, Loganton. Interment will be private.
