Loretta E. (Senft) Lippy

YORK- Loretta E. (Senft) Lippy, 72, of North Codorus Twp., died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles W. Lippy. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a visitation from 9-10 a.m. Her pastor, The Reverend Patricia A. Snyder will be officiating at the service. A Graveside Committal Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville. Mrs. Lippy was born in Manheim on November 23, 1939, a daughter of the late William H, and Lottie A. (Albright) Senft. Mrs. Lippy and her late husband Charles together, owned and operated the Valley Tavern for almost 35 years. Mrs. Lippy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Codorus, a 1957 National Honors Society Graduate of Spring Grove High School, was a member of both Quota International Club of York and York/Adams Drug and Alcohol Advisory Council. She served on Seven Valleys Planning and Zoning Commission and ran for office in the 93rd District House of Representatives. Mrs. Lippy leaves a daughter, Vicki A. Linsey and her husband Gregg of York New Salem; a step daughter, Linda L. Trone of West York; five grandchildren, Charles Reineberg and his fiancée Julie, Chris Linsey and his wife Nikki, Tracee Burhans, Hope Roe, and Kevin Linsey; two brothers, Harry R. Senft and his wife Marge of Linglestown and Richard E. Senft and his wife Barbara of Jefferson; and many nieces and nephews.
