Loren Z. Dodge, Jr.

TROY- Loren Z. Dodge, Jr., 84, of Big Pond, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the Bradford County Manor. He was the husband of the late Charlotte E. (Johnson) Dodge who passed away on April 20, 2011. The couple had over 50 happy years together. Loren was born on October 16, 1928 in Matamoras, PA, son of the late Loren Z. and Katherine Dodge, Sr. He was an assembler for Penn-Troy Manufacturing in Troy and was a farmer. He was a member of the Grange, and enjoyed hunting and his John Deere tractors. Loren is survived by his daughters: Linda (Randy) Frisbie and Lori Seymour, both of Big Pond, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his sister Janice Woolrich of Albany, NY and several nieces and nephews including Linda Hardenstine, Lois Elvidge, and Layton Kingsley, along with his faithful canine companion Muttley. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlotte, several sisters, and his brother in law Bob Johnson. Services for Loren will be private and at the convenience of his family.
