Lonney John Keller

YORK- Lonney John Keller, 71, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services South in York. He was the husband of the late Margaret E. (Mann) Keller. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 pm. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Wrightsville with full military honors by York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Keller was born in Craley on December 11, 1940, son of the late John and Betty (Arnold) Keller. He worked as an insurance agent for various insurance companies, including his own, Keller Insurance Service in York. Mr. Keller was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, a life member of Hellam VFW Post 7045, and a member of Hawks Gunning Club, and Craley Fish and Game. He loved hunting, fishing, darts, golfing, playing pool, and horse shoes. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Germany. Mr. Keller leaves three sons, William D. Keller of Grassy Key, FL, John P. Keller of Marathon, FL, and David E. Keller of Cudjoe, Key, FL; a daughter, Elizabeth A. Keller of York; two grandsons, John and Mark Keller of Marathon FL; a brother, Richard Keller of York, a sister, Wanda Arnold of Wrightsville, and nieces and nephews.
