WATSONTOWN - Lois V. (Weikel) Phillips, 87, a former resident of Montgomery, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Watsontown Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Montgomery on June 29, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Edith (Day) Weikel. Lois was married to the late William D. Phillips, who died in 1989. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Watsontown. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, stitching, embroidering, and playing cards. Lois is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Guy Mausteller of Allenwood and Jeffery and Debra Phillips of Williamsport; two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Tickle of Watsontown and Candace and Ron Boal of Williamsport, 11 grandchildren, six step grandchildren and one sister, Charlotte Spencer of Skowhegan, Maine. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one stepson, William D. Phillips Jr. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Friendship Baptist Church, 10 Voris Lane, Watsontown, PA 17777, with a gathering of family and friends from 10-11 a.m. The Reverend Jerry L. Caswell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837 Arrangements are being handled by The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street Milton, PA 17847
