Lois L. (Wallace) Shultz

YORK- Lois (Wallace) Shultz, York, died Saturday, November 15th peacefully at home with her family by her side, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Albert J. Shultz. Mrs. Shultz was born in Emigsville, PA, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (Mundis) Wallace. She was employed at the York Water Company from 1976 until 2003 and also worked for 25 years at H & R Block offices in the local area. Lois loved travel, the arts, reading, the beach, and especially food, laughter and celebration shared with her family and friends of many years. In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by a daughter Greta Shultz and her son Tarakayn of Greenfield, MA; and a son Dean Shultz and his wife Ellen and their daughter Olivia of New York City. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., is in charge of arrangements. Following cremation there will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 925 S. George St. in York, with a gathering time with the family over lunch to follow.
