Lois June Macgill

LOCK HAVEN - Lois June MacGill, age 74, died at Susque-View Home on Sat. Aug. 14, 2010. She was born in Lock Haven on July 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Delphine Hassinger. Lois worked for several years as a cook at the Village Tavern and also at the Eagle Hotel. She enjoyed picnics, and loved family time, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters: Carlene (Dale) Shawley of Lock Haven and Carol (Reggie) Mauck of Blanchard. Also surviving are her granddaughters: Sherry (Tim ) Varnes of Mill Hall, Nicole (Mark) Brady of Jersey Shore, Sharon (Keith) Dunlap of Flemington, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 with Pastor Kenneth Lynn officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Private family interment will take place in Dunnstown Cemetery at the family's convenience. Memorials are requested to the Salvation Army, 119 E.
