Lois J. (Weimer) Kline

YORK- Lois J. (Weimer) Kline, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Charles Kline. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Mt. Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt. Rose Ave., York, with The Reverend Joel N. Coleman officiating. A funeral cortege will meet at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:45 AM. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born May 26, 1926 in Rockwood, PA, Lois was a daughter of the late Melvin Ray and Minerva Edith (Sanner) Weimer. She worked as a sales clerk at Kmart for many years. Mrs. Kline was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed yard work, especially gardening and working in her flower beds. Mrs. Kline is survived by a son, Jeff Kline and his wife Barb of York; three daughters, Susan Shorb and her husband Robert of Dallastown, Linda Wilson and her husband Paul of Dallastown, and Charlotte Kline of York; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Weimer and his wife Shirley and Melvin Weimer, Jr. and his wife Dolores, and two sisters, Barbara Weimer and Doris Baer and her husband Wayne. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Kirk. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3544 N.
