Lois E. (Rutherford) Knight

YORK -Lois E. (Rutherford) Knight, 90, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late John L. Knight. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 1551 Kenneth Road is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Knight was born November 11, 1919 in Granby, Quebec, Canada, a daughter of the late Stuart and Mary Rutherford. She enjoyed traveling to Europe, gardening and knitting. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt who lived a full and happy life. Mrs. Knight is survived by two sons, Dr. Richard J. Knight, M.D. and wife, Christine L. of Houston, TX, and Randall A. Knight and fianc裬 Patricia A. Hawn of York; two grandchildren, Henry and Amanda Knight of TX; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Stuart Rutherford, Jr.
