POTTSVILLE- Lisa Beth Depsky, 45, of Pottsville, passed from this earthly life on Saturday at her home after a courageous battle with Giant Cell Sacral Tumor. Born in Pottsville, Lisa was a beloved daughter of Paul and Nancy M. Heckman Depsky, of Pottsville. Lisa was a 1981 graduate of Pottsville High School. She was last employed by Eyeland Optical, Pottsville. For many years she worked for Scheoneman Beauty Supply. Lisa was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Pottsville. Lisa loved animals dearly and adopted many. She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and vegetables and cooking on the grill. She liked games and solving puzzles. Lisa loved family gatherings, birthday celebrations and holidays. She especially loved vacationing with her family at the beach. Lisa was a friend to many and had an infectious laugh. She was fondly known as "PITA". She will sadly be missed by many. Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alfred W. Heckman and John and Antoinette Depsky and aunts and uncles. In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her twin sister, Lori Ann Depsky,of Pottsville and Roxanne Purcell, wife of Jim, of Pottsville;her devoted friend Bobby Delph;her maternal Grandmother, Ida Murray Heckman, Mechanicsville; Godparents, Linda McNitsky and David Heckman; many cousins; Aunts and Uncles; her pet Sheltie, Brady. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & West Market Streets, Pottsville. Reverend James Reinhart will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and also on Thursday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Memorial contributions can be made to Hillside SPCA, Hillside Road, Pottsville, PA 17901.
