Linda L. Mayer

WILLIAMSPORT - Linda L. Mayer, 57 of Germania Street, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her home. She was born December 31, 1952 in Williamsport the daughter of the late Clark L. and Mildred J. (Salsgiver) Shaffer. Linda retired from the former CA Reed Company as a retail associate. She was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons Steven A. (Ruth) Mayer of Lake Pleasant, NY and Glen E. (Therese) Mayer of Hughesville. Six grandchildren and one brother Dennis (Charmaine) Shaffer of Trout Run. A brother Dean Shaffer preceded Linda in death. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 3200 Lycoming Creek Rd., Williamsport with the Rev. Louis Gatti officiating. Interment will be private at Wildwood Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira Street.
