Lillian Laree (Schaszberger) Strine

YORK- Lillian LaRee (Schaszberger) Strine, 88, of West Manchester Township, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Normandie Ridge in York. She was the wife of the late Wilson R. Strine. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. The Reverend Thomas R. Osenbach will be officiating at the service. Mrs. Strine was born in York on December 2, 1925, the daughter of the late R. Fred and Merle K. (Fetrow) Schaszberger. She retired as a self employed beautician. Mrs. Strine leaves a brother Kenneth L. Schaszberger and his wife Joyce of Red Lion; a cousin Karen Doyle of York and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Strine was preceded in death by her four brothers Reginald, Stanley, Richard, and Gene. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
