Lillian F. (Kitchen) Etters

BEECH CREEK - Lillian F. (Kitchen) Etters, 83, of passed away Monday, Sept., 29, 2014 at the Lock Haven Emergency Room. She was born December 7, 1930 in Beech Creek a daughter of Uriah V. & Della F. (Mann) Kitchen. Lillian was married to Robert P. Etters on November 13, 1948 they celebrated 64 years of marriage together. She worked as a seamstress for Woolrich Woolen Mills at the former Blanchard plant retiring in 1995. Lillian was a past president of the Woolrich Retirees. She was a member of the Salona United Methodist Church. Lillian enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking and especially spending time with her family. Surviving are her loving husband and one son Robert A. (Brenda) Etters of Lamar, two daughters Susan M. (Bob) Lowry of Benton, AR and Della M. (Ricky) Watson of Rote. 7 grandchildren Terri, Robert, Brenda, Charles, Amy, Michele and Heather, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. 2 step-grandsons Travis Wagner and Michael Glantz. One brother Archie Kitchen of Flagstaff, AZ. She was preceded in death by a sister Josephine Bowes and four brothers Allen, Uriah, William and Donald. There will be a public viewing on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Salona United Methodist Church, 624 Long Run Road, Mill Hall with Pastor Frank Hartzel officiating. Interment will be private. A luncheon will be held at the church following the memorial service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salona United Methodist Church, 624 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, PA 17751. Arrangements are being handled by the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall.
