Lillian (Drouse) Molinski

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ- Lillian (Drouse) Molinski, 102, formerly of Avoca, passed away Saturday morning at House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. Born in Avoca on May 27, 1911, she worked as a seamstress for many years in Avoca. Lillian was the Oldest Living Member of the former Ss. Peter and Paul’s Church, Avoca. Her husband, Peter Molinski, who died May 31, 1979, and a daughter, Helen Knittle, preceded Lillian in death. Surviving are two loving grandchildren, James “Jim” Knittle, III, Hackettstown, NJ, and Susan Meckley, Atlanta, GA, two great grandchildren, Danielle and Nicole Knittle. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 21, 2013, in Queen of the Apostles Parish, 715 Hawthorne Street, Avoca, with Father Phillip J. Sladick officiating. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Mary Cemetery, Greenwood, Moosic. Friends may view at the church from 10:00AM until the time of the mass. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 728 Main Street, Avoca.
