Lillian C. (West) Wilson

YORK- Lillian C. (West) Wilson, 93, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in York. She was the wife of the late Ai F. Wilson. The couple had been married for 41 years prior to Ai’s passing in 1987. Born August 13, 1922 in Dover, Lillian was a daughter of the late Luther R. and Helen M. (Zeltwanger) West. She worked for many years as a waitress at the former Richland Restaurant. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed shopping and yard sales. Lillian volunteered at Pleasant Acres and liked to take the residents on bus trips to West Manchester Mall for walking and shopping. She will be remembered as a kind woman who was well liked by everyone she met. Mrs. Wilson is survived by two sons, William H. Wilson and his wife, Stephanie of Bokeelia, FL., and Richard J. Wilson and his wife Sally of York; three grandchildren, Mark W. Wilson, Daniel S. Wilson, and Darci Jo Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Kylie May Wilson and Keenan Craig Wilson; a sister Ruth McFadden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
