Lillian B. (Ronnback) Solter

Dover—Lillian B. (Ronnback) Solter, 90, went home to be with the Lord, August 15, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services-North. She was the wife of Alfred Solter. The couple celebrated 63 years of marriage on June 4th. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7 PM, Friday, August 24, 2012 at Friendship Community Church, 3380 Fox Run Rd, Dover with the Pastor John Harman officiating. A visitation will be held from 6-7 PM, Friday at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born September 7, 1921 in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Enock and Beatrice S. (Buck) Ronnback. She was a loving homemaker and also worked for various companies as a secretary. A member of the American Gladiola Society in California, she raised and showed flowers for many years. She also enjoyed playing golf, participated in local golf leagues, loved all animals and attended Friendship Community Church in Dover. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Solter is also survived by, two sons, Alfred M. Solter and his wife, Ruth of Red Lion and Robert C. Solter and his wife, Marie of Longmont, Co; two daughters, Anne E. Solter of Dover and Carole L. Wells and her husband, Chris of Emporia, KS; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded death by one brother, Robert E. Ronnback and one sister, Nancy E. Vincent.
