SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP-Lewis A. Wolfgang, 87, of Seven Valleys, Entered into Rest on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Manor Care Health Services North- York. He was the husband of the late Lorie F. (Gladfelter) Wolfgang. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2007 at St. Peter's Church, 1708 Seitzville Rd. in SevenValleys, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. His pastor, The Reverend Thomas Beck will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with full military honors by the York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Wolfgang was born in Codorus Township on April 17, 1920, a son of the late Lewis and Rachel Ann (Utz) Wolfgang. He retired from Borg Warner in York and was a member of U.A.W. Local #1872, St. Peters Church in Seven Valleys and Loganville Fire Company. He served in the US Army during WWII in the European Theatre. Mr. Wolfgang leaves a stepson, P. Richard Miller of Sarasota, FL, a stepdaughter, Evelyn L. Baile of York, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother, John Wolfgang of Glenville, four sisters: Lizzie Anthony, Lettie Hershey and Eva Bossom, all of Hanover and Emma Kohler of New Freedom. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Church, Building Fund, 1708 Seitzville Rd., Seven Valleys, PA 17360.
