Windsor—Lester L. Witmer, 66, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at his residence in Windsor Township. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2007 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Richard Starr officiating. Burial will be held in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, and from 9 to 10 a.m., Friday, at the funeral chapel. Mr. Witmer was born March 22, 1940 in York, the son of the late Chester L. and Viola P. (Huson) Witmer. He was employed with Maple Donuts in Maintenance/Engineering Department for 24 years until his retirement in 2006. Previously he worked at Mrs. Smith's Pies. A member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge # 148, he also enjoyed camping, flea markets and antique cars. Mr. Witmer is survived by two sons, Lester L. Witmer II, of Red Lion and William Bialcak of Utah, two daughters, Kim Rineholt of Windsor and Amy Witmer of Dallastown, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave, York, Pa 17403.
