Lester L. Bo" Young

LOWER WINDSOR- Lester L. "Bo" Young, 77, died at home Saturday, May 17, 2008. He was the loving husband of Kathryn V. (Beaverson) Young. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion is assisting with arrangements. Lester was born in Wrightsville on June 14, 1930, a son of the late Lloyd W. and Verna M. (Wambaugh) Young. He was employed with Wilton Armetale as a molder for over 30 years and retired in 1995. Lester was a Korean War veteran and belonged to the Wrightsville American Legion Post# 469. He also belonged to the Seagraves Men's Club in Wrightsville. He loved to play cards and enjoyed woodworking in his shed. Lester loved raising his animals. Surviving are his daughter, Debbie Feltch of Lower Windsor; two step daughters, JoAnn E. Snyder of East Prospect and Donna J. Zink of Columbia; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild on the way; and four sisters, Peg Kopp of York, Linda Howell of N.C., Sue Ross of Columbia, and Donna Rae Smuck of York. Preceding him in death are his great grandson, five brothers, and eight sisters. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Patient Help Fund, York Health Foundation, 45 Monument Rd., Ste. 200, York, PA 17403.
