Lester K. Kline

YORK- Lester K. Kline, 72 of Manchester Township, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Patterson) Kline. The couple celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on December 8, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Eastside Church and Ministries, 3430 Eastern Blvd., in York, with a viewing from 10-11 a.m. The Reverend Donald R. Belch will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in York, with a flag folding by York County Veteran’s Honor Guard. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Kline was born in Columbia, PA on March 7, 1946, the son of the late Lester K. Kline, Sr. and Mary L. (Carson) Kline Laudenberger. He retired in 2008 from J. C. Ehrlich in York where he had worked 25 years. Mr. Kline had formerly attended First Assembly of God and was currently attending Eastside Church and Ministries. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. Mr. Kline leaves a daughter, Amy R. Fisher and her husband Stephen of Dover, and Shaun P. Kline and his wife Jennifer of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda, Allison, Nicholas, and Catalina; three great grandchildren, Caiden, Audri, and Alixandra; and a brother, Edwin A. Kline and his wife Sandy of Columbia.
