Leslie H. Page, Jr.

DOVER- Leslie H. Page, Jr., 91, died on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at York Hospital. He was the companion of Joyce Kreiger. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Pastor Edward J. Rowand officiating. A viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Prospect Hill Cemetery with full military honors provided by the York County Veteran’s Honor Guard. A funeral cortege will meet at the Pennsylvania Ave. entrance at 9:45 a.m. Born on March 13, 1924 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Leslie H. and Florence I. (Fisher) Page, Sr. Leslie was a postal clerk for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement. Mr. Page served our country in the U.S. Air Force for three years during WWII. Mr. Page was a member of Rohler’s Assembly of God. He was also a member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #213, W. Manchester Twp. Farmers and Sportmans Association, American Legion Post #791, Athletic Club of York and Heritage Senior Center. Leslie was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel K. Page and his brother, Charles S.
