Leroy Merl Miller

YORK- LeRoy Merl Miller, 78, of Manchester Township, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of Suzzanne N. (Miller) Miller. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on January 20, 2021. Mr. Miller was born in Mt. Wolf, PA on February 1, 1943. He was the son of the late Merl F. and Hazel M. (Shearer) Miller. He retired from the former Miltex Company. He was a member of Tyrian F&AM Lodge #205 in Emmitsburg, MD, a longtime fan of NASCAR and knew most old westerns by heart. He was beloved by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who called him Poppy or Pop-Pop. Mr. Miller leaves two sons, Phillip G. Miller and his wife Roseanne of Chesapeake, VA and Stephen L. Miller of York; a daughter, Nicole K. DeWildt of Grand Rapids, MI; four grandchildren, Emily S. Meravy and her husband Martin, Andrew P. Miller, Amanda E. Kotlarz and her husband Jordan, and Kiera DeWildt; and a sister, Kay Ratz and her husband George of St. Simons Island, GA.
