Leroy F. Bartlett

MILTON - Leroy F. "Bing" Bartlett, 66, died on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Leroy was born on April 4, 1944 in Montgomery and was the son of the late Frank and Dorthy (Warner) Bartlett. He was married to the former Gladys L. (Carter) for 37 years, who survives. Leroy was a former employee of Montgomery School, Rochell Woodworking and Montgomery Mills. He was a member of the Mt. Deliverance Worship Center, New Columbia and VFW post 3428. He enjoyed country music, wrestling, football and NASCAR. In addition to his wife Gladys, he is survived by one daughter, Sherry L. Schleig and her companion Clifford L. Lloyd, both of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary Lee Bartlett of Lewisburg; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Bob Warner of Lakeland, Fla., and Donna Star of Milton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Howard Jeff Fausey. There will be a public viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Pastor Carl E. Varner will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Montgomery, PA.
