Leonard Young Tarman

YORK TOWNSHIP- Leonard Young Tarman, 85, of York died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Jeanne (Shirey) Tarman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 9-10 a.m. The Reverend Thomas Sanagorski will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery in York. Mr. Tarman was born in York on October 28, 1927, the son of the late Paul and Marcella Genevieve (Topper) Tarman. Mr. Tarman was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York, the Cotillion Club of York and Continental Squares. Mr. Tarman leaves a brother, Donald L. Tarman of York; a niece, Donna Tarman; and two nephews, Thomas and Robert Tarman. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Ruth Tarman.
