Leona V. (Marks) Stahl

MILTON - Leona V. (Marks) Stahl, 95 of Pine St., died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1915 in Lewisburg a daughter of Harry and Mary (King) Marks. Leona was married to James R. Stahl who died January 16, 1991. She was a member of the Milton First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed attending her flowerbeds. Surviving are four sons Melvin J. (Adia) Stahl, Elwood R. (Connie) Stahl, Richard H. (Mary) Stahl all of Milton and Ray E. (Jane) Stahl of Watsontown and a daughter Mary L. Gene) Comstock of Milton. Eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Two brothers Harlan Marks of Milton and Grant Marks of West Milton. Four sisters Sarah Smith of Lewisburg, Hilda Herman of Selinsgrove, Gladys Kratzer of Milton and Faylene Smith of New Columbia. One brother Melvin Marks and a sister Blanche Brown preceded her in death. The funeral will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front Street, Milton with the Rev. Robert E. Morris officiating. There will be a public viewing on Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00. Interment will be at Harmony Cemetery.
