Leona S. (Young) Pena

COGAN STATION - Leona S. (Young) Pena, 57, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center after battling a serious illness with her fiancé and family by her side. Leona was born on October 20, 1957 in Williamsport and was the daughter of Eugene A. Young, Sr. of Williamsport and the late Joyce M. (Rupert). She had worked at Carole Hochmans and was a true Yankee fan. She loved her cats, Mamas and Fefe. Leona is survived by her fiancé and loving companion; Timothy D. “Tim” Wensel of Cogan Station, one son; Joseph Walters, Jr. and one daughter; Brandy Walters, both of Williamsport, eight grandchildren; Aubrianna Walters, twins Victoria and Kane Dauberman, Gabriel Walters, Gavin Walters, Chance Dauberman, Brianna Dauberman and Kyle Dauberman, three brothers; George Young, William Young and Eugene Young, Jr., all of Williamsport, two sisters; Yvonne Fredin and Teresa Minnick and her husband Glenn, all of Williamsport, nieces and nephews; Sheena Eiswerth, Francis Fredin, Jr., Gordon Stark, III, Ashley Debrody, Lisa and Angus Young, Alasia Fredin, Odyssey Richards, twins; Adelynn and Trinity Debrody, Onika and Arihanna. Other family members included; Keith Dauberman, Michelle Huey, Beth Lockard, Raymond Lewis, June Craven and Jordan Hopkins. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband; Frank Pena. There will be a gathering of family and friends with a viewing 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport.
