Leo Joseph Izer, Jr.

WEST YORK BORO- Leo Joseph Izer, Jr., 68, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Elaine Louise (Schnetzka) Izer. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding on August 31, 2017. Mr. Izer was born July 4, 1949, the son of the late Leo Joseph Izer, Sr. and Beatrice Naomi (Ketterman) Izer. He retired as a building and maintenance supervisor for the YMCA. Along with his wife, Mr. Izer leaves a son, Keith Allen Izer of York; a brother, Luke Izer of York; three sisters, Beatrice Didion of Tampa Bay, FL, Stella Mellott of York, and Kim Izer of York; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Myers, and a brother, George Izer. Memorial contributions may be made to SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
